Down into the valley on three wheels
Hop on the Golmerbahn, put on your helmet, and off you go! From July 25, 2026 you’ll experience the Erlebnisberg Golm from a whole new perspective. From Latschau, you’ll roll on three wheels to Vandans—right through the heart of the Montafon mountains.
The 3-kilometer-long mountain cart track winds its way down the valley through 21 hairpin turns, offering an active adventure for the whole family. Perfect for families with children ages 10 and up and anyone looking to add even more excitement to their day at Erlebnisberg Golm.
By the way: In winter, the track becomes the Latschau–Vandans natural toboggan run.
Prices & Rental
You can pick up your Mountaincart directly at Sportshop-Golm, located at the Golmerbahn valley station in Vandans. There, the Sportshop team will give you a brief orientation, and then you’ll take your Mountaincart up to Latschau on the Golmerbahn.

Important Information about the Mountaincarts-Golm
Who can ride?
- Each Mountaincart can accommodate one person
- You must be at least 10 years old to ride
- You must be at least 140 cm tall and weigh no more than 120 kg
- If you’re under 14, you may only ride if accompanied by an adult
You may not ride if you are pregnant, have cardiovascular or back problems, or are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Equipment
Wearing a helmet is mandatory - your helmet is included in the rental price.
Please also wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes.
Route & Instructions
Riding is permitted only on the designated route. Please do not leave the route. Pedestrians, motor vehicles, bicycles, hikers, oncoming traffic, and livestock may be present on the route.
While Riding
Always adjust your speed, maintain a distance of at least 20 m, and do not pass other riders. Please stop only in areas with good visibility and always use both brakes.

The mountain cart rental is valid for one hour after the safety briefing. If you can complete the course within that time, you can ride it twice.

The Mountaincart trail starts in Latschau and leads back to Vandans.

Riders must be at least 10 years old and at least 140 cm tall. The maximum weight is 120 kg.
