Located in the Austrian Montafon, the Erlebnisberg Golm is easily accessible by public transport as well as by car from Germany and Switzerland.

Due to its location in the Montafon, it is also ideal for spontaneous day or weekend trips. Here you can go directly to the route planner.

How to reach us by train

The Golm ski and hiking area is also easy to reach by public transport. Express train station in Bludenz - then take the Montafonerbahn from Bludenz to Schruns. From there, take the bus to Latschau to the Golm cable car.

How to reach us by car

The Golmerbahn valley station in Vandans is only about 8 km from the Montafon highway exit, making it your first destination in the Montafon.

Via the Lindau or Hörbranz border crossing from Germany

Pfänderunnel - Rheintalautobahn A14 - Ambergtunnel - exit Montafon near Bludenz - from Bludenz on the Montafonerstraße L188.

Via the Arlberg

Also take the Bludenz-Montafon exit - from Bludenz on the Montafonerstrasse L188.

From Switzerland

Highway from Zurich or Chur - exit Gams - (Principality of Liechtenstein) - border crossing Tisis (Feldkirch) - Walgauautobahn A14 - exit Montafon near Bludenz - from Bludenz on the Montafonerstraße L188.

From St. Gallen (CH)

Swiss Rheintalautobahn - exit Oberriet-Meiningen - highway direction Bludenz - exit Rankweil A14 - Ambergtunnel - exit Montafon near Bludenz - from Bludenz on the Montafonerstraße L188.

Even in winter, the journey to Montafon is possible without any obstructions. The route has no major inclines or pass crossings.

Please note that toll stickers (tolls) are compulsory on all Austrian highways and expressways. You can find detailed information at vignette.at/maut-vignette. Points of sale: automobile clubs (ÖAMTC, ARBÖ), customs, toll booths, petrol stations and tobacconists.

Parking

There are day parking spaces directly at the Golmerbahn valley station. The parking spaces in Vandans are free of charge.

Night parking is prohibited from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Violation of this rule will result in a complaint for disturbance of property.

The parking lot P4 is a night parking lot/permanent parking lot and is located next to the company building of WE-FORM GmbH Austria. The night parking lot is also free of charge.

E-Charging stations

There are a total of 14 e-charging stations at the parking lot in Vandans. There are 8 e-charging stations at the Latschau middle station.

Disabled parking spaces are available directly at the Golmerbahn. The Golmerbahn is barrier-free in Vandans.

There is a day parking lot directly at the Golmerbahn in Latschau, which can be used by all day guests of the Erlebnisberg Golm.

The permanent parking lot at the Latschau fire station is available for multi-day guests, ski tourers and hikers.

Bus parking

Bus parking spaces are also available in Latschau. However, we recommend using the bus parking lot in Vandans.
