Forest Rope Course-Golm
The 12th of November 08 was the beginning of construction works for the biggest Forest Rope Course in Vorarlberg.
Our new and exciting Forest Rope Course-Golm will be in addition to the existing Alpine-Coaster-Golm and to our Golmi´s exploration trail one more attraction to advance our offer in the summer season.
A Forest Rope Course is a forest in which you are able to climb from tree to tree. It has various kinds of exercises or handicaps in a height from 1 to 15 metres. Our Forest Rope Course-Golm is equipped with 9 courses with all degrees of difficulty and 69 different exercises. This size enables us to say that our forest rope course-Golm is the biggest one in Vorarlberg.
In addition to this great offer we are pleased to say that we will have special courses for kids with easy and small-sized exercises and handicaps. Fun, action and adventure in the nature is definitely a guarantee for every participant!
Basically, everyone is able to climb through the Forest Rope Course-Golm, because as already mentioned there are different courses with all degrees of difficulty. All visitors are allowed to climb independently through our courses after having had some safety instructions and having passed a training course.

We have proved a variety of possible locations in the summer season because not every hiking resort is in the way of construction of a Forest Rope Course-Golm as convenient as others. The perfect location was found in Latschau-Kristakopf near the reservoir. An ideal location for that project should fulfil the following conditions:
- forested area with sufficient healthy, high and sessile trees
- the trees should have at least a diameter of 30 cm in the height of the exercises
- a good accessibility of the Forest Rope Course-Golm
- parking facilities close beside
The stock of trees will remain unaffected as far as possible, due to the fact that all exercises will be fixed with a special technique on the tree trunks so that the trees will not be damaged.
A safe experience!
The company who is in charge with the forest rope course-Golm constructs according to European standards (exactly to the “Europäischer Hochseilgartenverband”) and is a member of the EN Commision for “Seilgärten”. The forest rope course-Golm will be proved extensively by the TUEV after the finishing.
